--DUST SETTLES ON A THIN CLOUD
…Really, it’s Friday already?
…This happened, not far from my house (It
made me wonder what actual evidence the police had, other than witnesses; I mean,
did an undercover cop pull in and ask to see something?)
EVERETT, Wash. -- EVERETT, Wash. (AP) —
Police say the service at a bikini espresso stand in Washington state was too
hot.
Officers arrested three
baristas Wednesday at the Hillbilly Hotties coffee stand in Everett.
Spokesman Aaron Snell
tells KOMO (http://bit.ly/1ixokQ4 ) that police received complaints the women
were exposing body parts and behaving inappropriately.
A 20-year-old and
21-year-old are facing charges of violating the city's adult cabaret law. A
33-year-old was arrested for investigation of lewd conduct.
…Here are some things I
like for the weekend:
-"I
searched through rebellion, drugs, diets, mysticism, religions, intellectualism
and much more, only to begin to find...that truth is basically simple - and
feels good, clean and right." Chick Corea
-"The
reward of a thing well done is to have done it." Ralph Waldo Emerson
-"Let
us move on, and step out boldly, though it be into the night, and we can
scarcely see the way." Charles Newcomb
-"If I
were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the
passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent,
sees the possible...what wine is so sparkling, so fragrant, so intoxicating, as
possibility." Kierkagaard
"Fear
is the greatest obstacle to learning. But fear is your best friend. Fear is
like fire. If you learn to control it, you let it work for you. If you don’t
learn to control it, it’ll destroy you and everything around you." Boxing
trainer Cus D'Amato to 13 year old Mike Tyson
+"I
have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more
start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning."
